My granddad sadly passed away peacefully and surrounded by his close family on the eve of 1st February 2007, at the young age of 69. He was diagnosed of lung cancer only 7 months previous in the June of 2006. After his diagnoses when he was told it was inoperable he joined a drug trail to try and help others in his situation. Ken was a very special person to so many people: a dearly loved husband and father, a wonderful granddad, a caring brother and friend. His loving character and his sense of humour is deeply missed by us all and has left such a gap in many people’s lives. I want this fund to help others fight such a terrible disease that claims so many lives each year and to keep my granddads memory alive. I would also like to thank everyone who gave us all support through everything. Keep on trucking grandad you are dearly missed xx
